His representative work as a composer is GAO's Sayonara, which sold over 1.23 million copies in 1992.
He has also composed theme songs for anime and music for video games.
Currently, he is active as an SSW artist and performs live with a band featuring guest musicians.

Abe Koji (1941-), Japanese novelist

Born in 1986 in Okinawa, Japan
Grew up somewhat in Ehime until the age of 19. Then moved to Tokyo.
Became a street musician traveling around the world with guitar in hand.

Currently based in Tokyo, he performs about 300 live shows a year
He hitchhikes and travels all over the country.
